Women’s Association of the CSA ~ 2025 Programs
“Life Happens: Friends, Laughter and the CSA Help!”
“Life Happens: Friends, Laughter and the CSA Help!”
Welcome back for another summer Season at the CSA, where we gather in our shared community of natural, spiritual, and human beauty to renew in mind, body and spirit. The Women’s Association (WA) strives to plan programs to enrich your experience at the CSA and we are excited to announce our Summer 2025 schedule.
We are privileged to do this service work thanks to generous volunteers, contributions, and fund-raising each year. This year the WA is contributing over $30,000 (a record!) back to the CSA. These funds support on-going programs, one-time events, and special improvements.
Back By Popular Demand! Yoga and Fitness classes, Mindfulness Sessions, Potluck Dinners, The Arts and Crafts Fair with Cottage Treasurers and Silent Auction, and the WA Annual Meeting.
New! Two days of Improv Comedy Workshops with a visiting artist/teacher, Janna Sobel. And a Book/Author talk on novel Copper Stone: A Glimpse of Blood Memory (released June 2025!) by CSA member Julia Mary Gibson.
Fitness Classes Begin on Monday June 16 – All classes start at 9 :00 a.m. Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays - Yoga at Lake Michigan Tennis Court; Tuesdays - Movement and Balance at Assembly Building
Mindfulness & Well Being Program Begins - Session #1 (of 3) on June 25, 11:00 AM-Noon Assembly Building. Reach out to Beth Wolszon at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for further details.
Returning instructor, Kristen Ryder, is a Community Yoga and Mindfulness Facilitator. The practice of mindfulness has been proven to reduce stress and help navigate negative emotions with a greater sense of awareness and compassion. Classes are instructional, conversational and provide tools to integrate mindfulness practices into everyday life. She reminds us that while mindfulness practices support health and well-being, these classes do not replace medical or mental health services.
Session #1 - Mindfulness Foundational Practices: Experience key mindfulness steps: 1) paying attention; 2) on purpose; 3) to the present moment; and 4) without judgement (the gentle and loving part).
First Potluck – Thursday June 26, 6:30 PM – Assembly Building. Build a dish to share and your own service. Amazing Food and friendship. Thank you Luette Frost for organizing this fun & tasty event!
