CSA Welcomes Katie Wind as the Manager of the Crystal View starting in 2025!
Katie is a 5th generation; her ancestors started running Three Pines, our neighbors to the north, in 1920. She has spent all her summers in Pilgrim and considers it a home away from home. She is married to Craig Wind, and they have two daughters, Samantha and Sabrina. Sabrina is active in Operettas and loves swimming and finding Petoskey stones. Samantha has been volunteering for a couple of years at the Assembly, helping with arts and crafts and on the ballfield; in the summer of 2024, she started working at the Crystal View and on the ballfield. Sam loves working at the CV and mostly enjoys seeing all the young kids. With Sam's encouragement and the support of her entire family, Katie is ready to jump right in next summer. We are excited to have her on our CSA team!
HISTORY OF THE CRYSTAL VIEW
The Crystal View Cafe has become a staple of CSA life in the twenty-first century. It’s a place for families to meet for lunch, for kids to grab ice cream after an intense tennis match, and for the nostalgic to stare out at the view from its vantage point just above Crystal Lake. However, did you know that behind the cafe’s comforting, familiar exterior lies almost a century of history. Click here to read the story!
