Book Discussion Sunday, July 9th 12:00pm - Rev. Michael Lindvall
Rev. Michael Lindvall, an author and our preacher on July 9th, is writing a series of mystery novels with his daughter, Madeline. They are working in the ever-popular classic mystery genre while bringing readers to consider vexing spiritual and ethical questions.
After the 11:00am worship service on July 9th, everyone is invited to the Assembly Building to hear Michael speak briefly about mystery fiction and its relationship to Christian conviction. He’ll have available for sale some copies of “Ashes to Ashes,” the first novel in the series.
Gibson Lecture Series August 7th through the 11th 12:00 noon – 1:00pm
Ken Cox will deliver the Gibson Lecture this summer. The noontime lectures are entitled, Angels Visit When We Sing: Modern Sacred Choral Composers and Their Music.
Ladies Bible Study meets at Pilgrim Place on Thursdays June 29 – August 17, 2023. Please come at 9:00 for a cup of coffee or tea and a chance to visit.
