August 2    Neta Pringle

Rev. Pringle is a graduate of Douglass College (Rutgers University). She received her Master of Divinity Degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York City in 1984 and was ordained in June, 1985.

She has served as Interim Pastor and Head of Staff of  Limestone Presbyterian Church  in Wilmington, Delaware.  Previously she served for ten years as Pastor and Head of Staff at Concord Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, for six years as Pastor of Christ's First Presbyterian Church, Hempstead, Long Island; as Interim Pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Paramus, N.J.; and as Interim Director of TEAM (The Educational and Artistic Ministry) in Bergen County, New Jersey.

She has been Chair of Presbytery Council and of the Ministry Unit of New Castle Presbytery and was on its Executive Pastor Nominating Committee.    She was a Commissioner to the 204th  and 213th General Assemblies of the Presbyterian Church (USA), chairing the Commissioner Committee on Justice and Social Issues of the 204th General Assembly.  She was Chair of the  Committee on Ministry of both Long Island and Palisades Presbyteries (northern New Jersey), and Moderator of the Presbytery of Long Island,.  Neta has had sermons published in Best Sermons 4 and Ministry Magazine.

Neta has served her community as a member of the Board of Directors of the YWCA and as a Commissioner to the Delaware Human Relations Commission.  She is presently a  member of the Wilmington Rotary Club and is on the boards of The Wellness Community and Delaware Center for Horticulture.

Neta is married to the Rev. John Potter, a Presbyterian minister who is working as a Spiritual Director.  Between them they have five grown children and five grandsons.
