You Can Help Make it a Reality Starting in 2026! An Exciting Playground for the Future:
Discovery Tree with SlideAt their November 2025 meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the Playground Subcommittee’s recommendation to refresh our beloved Crystal Beach playground. This plan was shaped by the ideas and feedback from our community.
It features new, nature-themed playground equipment, new shade and mobility options, and refurbishment of the yellow playscape, while preserving our cherished swings, climbing dome, and monkey bars.
Now we need your support to make this playground a reality!
Our goal is to raise 100% of the funds needed to cover not only the equipment, but also shipping, taxes, and installation. Thanks to our generous supporters, we’ve already raised $107,000—about 60% of our goal— in just six weeks before the Board meeting. With the final plan and budget now approved, we need to raise an additional $72,500 to fully fund the project.

The plan is to order as much of the new equipment as possible for installation in Spring 2026, based on the funds raised by the order cut-off date. We will then plan for a second installation phase later, as the remaining funds become available.
