If you’ve made it this far, well done! Forums are a tricky thing to navigate for even the most experienced internet users. Lets get started.
There are some basic universal rules for posting to any internet forum:
1. Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum description before posting.
2. Be respectful of other users when posting. Abusing other users in any way will not be tolerated. Additionally, posting of offensive text, images, or links will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate banning from the website.
3. Respect the copyright of other users, sites, and media.
4. Use an appropriate and descriptive subject with creating a new topic. Examples of BAD subjects, “Help Me!”, “I’m stuck!”, etc. Examples of GOOD subjects, “Getting an error message on login”, “Trouble uploading photos”, etc.
5. Please post in a way consistent with “normal writing.” Avoid the use of excessive capital letters, colored text, emoticons, and punctuation.
Following these rules will make your experience on the summerassembly.org forums much more pleasant.
