Tonight’s picture is a bay side shot of the Nina and the Pinta.  They ended up staying for a week and left this morning for Muskegon.  I was surprised at how small they are..Not my idea of a Trans Atlantic watercraft….

Several happenings coming up. The Port Onida Historic Area, a part of Sleeping Bear, will be having an open house this coming weekend…There are 6 farmsteads and areas that have been restored and will be staffed. Details on fliers and the Sleeping Bear web site. I find the blacksmithing quite interesting.
