In 2009, the CSA Ecology Committee sponsored two programs- an ecological education program for children and an environmental baseline assessment of the CSA.  Carrying forward with this momentum, they proposed to continue Ecology Fun classes in 2010 and, additionally, build a robust plan for tackling the threat of invasive species in the CSA forest.

At the CSA Trustee’s meeting on August 6, 2010, the Board voted to authorize the CSA President to change the status of the “ad-hoc” Website Committee to that of a regular CSA committee. Doug Fuller was appointed chair.

Preservation Fund Established

At the Annual CSA meeting in August, the membership voted to change the name of the CSA Endowment Fund to the Preservation Fund, to better reflect the use and administration of the fund. Additional changes are in the works. Please watch this space for updates.
